Denny LaRue brings to Selkirk Center the same qualities that defined one of the most distinguished careers in NHL officiating: composure under pressure, earned trust, and the ability to hold a room together when the stakes are high.

A retired NHL referee, Denny's career record stands among the best in the history of professional hockey. He officiated 1,222 regular season and playoff games, worked four Winter Olympic Games, and held the Stanley Cup, a résumé that reflects decades of performing at the highest level under the most demanding conditions.

What brought Denny to Selkirk Center is not the athletic record. It is the professional quality that record required: an instinctive ability to build trust quickly, navigate complex relationships, and connect people around a shared objective. In an environment where physician led hospital development depends on the right conversations reaching the right people at the right time, that quality is exceptionally rare.

His work with Selkirk Center focuses on investor outreach and strategic partnership development, the disciplined, relationship driven work of connecting qualified partners to a credible opportunity. He approaches it the way he approached every assignment: with preparation, integrity, and the confidence of someone with a proven record at the highest level.

In the Inland Northwest community, Denny has led grassroots efforts to develop a new ice facility in Spokane, expanding youth hockey access and growing the sport regionally, a community investment effort that mirrors Selkirk Center's own commitment to lasting impact in North Idaho.
