Interim Chief Executive Officer

Heath Veuleman serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Selkirk Center, leading the operational development and organizational buildout of the institution as it moves from concept to construction and licensure.

With more than 20 years of experience in hospital administration, healthcare system design, and healthcare financing, Heath brings precisely the operational and institutional expertise a project of this complexity requires. He holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Philosophy and pursued graduate studies in healthcare administration at Seton Hall University, and was subsequently accepted into doctoral programs at both Tulane University and Dartmouth College.

His career has been defined by the work of building and reforming healthcare systems, domestically and internationally, in partnership with governments, corporations, and integrated health networks. That work spans reimbursement structure reform, cost reduction strategy, clinical system integration, and the financial engineering required to make physician led institutions operationally sustainable over the long term.

At Selkirk Center, Heath is responsible for translating the clinical vision of the founding physicians into an institution, governance structure, operational infrastructure, licensing strategy, capital strategy, and the recruitment of the administrative and clinical team that will carry this hospital through opening and into mature operations.

His presence ensures that the project is not simply physician led in name. It is physician led in governance and administrator disciplined in execution, the combination that the evidence shows produces the highest performing physician owned hospitals.
